Another Weekend Gone

I'm sure whoever reads this blog wonders why I never post anything about what happens during the week. Its because that doesn't change much. Work, eat supper, relax, sleep.

Friday night I received a call from my dad asking me to pick up a car & drive it home. Its a new work car for him. Lee & I went down & picked it up. We packed & headed to Beulah. I had Lee follow me in case something happened. It was funny on Hwy 49 Shelby sat up & looked out the back window of the car & must have recognized our pickup as she sat & watched Lee driving behind us for quite a while. Lee pulled up next to us & she watched him do that too. Kind of funny. Got to Beulah, went out for supper with my parents, Lee went to his parents house. Test drove the car with my parents. Played 3 games of aggravation with my parents, each of us won a game. Watched the news. Lee stopped in & asked if I wanted to watch I Am Legend with Randy, Mandy & Scott. Told him I could barely keep my eyes open. He went & watched it. I went to bed.

Saturday morning we went up to Lee's parents so Lee could put a new radiator in his dad's old Blue pickup. I visited with Lee's mom. Ate lunch, went to the grocery store with Lee's mom. When we got back Kristi stopped by with Paige. They had a b-day party to go to. We ate supper then headed back to Bismarck.

Sunday morning I didn't get out of bed til 10:30am!!! I was shocked. So got up, mowed the rest of the yard, cleaned up Shelby's poo, trimmed the lilac trees. Lee hauled the grass to the compost. We went to Menards, grocery store, and O'Riley's. Got home ate some lunch (2:45pm). Lee washed our 3 vehicles, I raked the pine needles by the evergreen tree (going to try to grow some grass there), primed the area by the stairs we have been working on, cleaned out the grill, made fajitas, cleaned out half the gutter of pine needles (filled garbage about 1/4 full), took relaxing bath, watched some tv went to bed.

We got a lot done but it doesn't even put a dent in what needs to be done yet before camping season starts!!
