Rhyse's 4 mo. appointment

Rhyse had his 4 month appointment yesterday. He now weighs 15# 7 oz. (60%), length is 25" (50%) and head 16.5" (50%). So he is a pretty average baby. He is doing well developmentally. She said she could see a start of a tooth but said they sometimes play peek-a-boo, so not saying its going to come through just yet. The way he has been chewing & drooling you would think something is going to happen soon. So we'll see. I got my first tooth at 4 months but Lee didn't get his til 6 or 7 months. She suggested not starting him on solids til closer to 5 months. She says she tries to wait as long as possible before having them start on solids. He seems satisfied & not acting hungry after eating and he is still gaining good weight, so he should be good for a little while yet. He did really good with his shots. He cried for just a little bit then he was fine. The nurse told him he is very forgiving. He cried again when we put his clothes on & put him in his carseat but once in he was fine.

He is starting to get into a bedtime routine. He is usually in bed & asleep between 8 & 8:30. On average he has been sleeping around 5 hours from the last feeding before bed til he wakes up. After that you never know, could be 4,3,2.5 hours. Last night he went 6 hours then 4 hours before I left for work so that was nice. I feed him before I go to work & he goes back to sleep. Lee usually wakes him 2 hours later to get him ready for daycare.
