Can you believe Rhyse had his 6 month appointment? Time does go fast - faster than you want it to. He weighs 17# 7 oz (50%), 17" head (48%), & 26" long (40%). When the nurse first measured him she said he was 25", which I didn't think sounded right. She was going to chart it & said he wasn't even on the chart, she looked back & said he hasn't grown in length at all from last time. I said maybe we should measure him again. This time he was 26". Then he charted at 40%. I knew he had grown in length cuz his one piece outfits were to small for him & he's in the 6-9 month clothes. The doctor was very impressed with how well he sits alone & stands (assisted of course). She said he is right on track & even above for what he is doing. He did very well with his shots. He cried when they gave them to him but a few seconds after he was acting as if nothing had happened. This is the best he has ever done. My little tough guy! The doctor had told us that bag balm or corona cream work best for diaper rash since Rhyse has had a rash that I've been battling for a couple weeks. Its not getting any worse but not getting any better. So I bought some last night & we'll see how it goes. I have some pics to put out here but don't have access to them right now. I'll try to get them out here soon.
Otherwise, Lee has an appointment with a bone & joint doctor next Wed. for his leg he hurt at work about a month ago. He had a big bruise which then turned into a lump with fluid in it. The lump is still there, he said it doesn't hurt at all but doesn't look good or should I say normal. So he went to the doctor & they didn't even want to attempt to deal with it so they referred him to a specialist. The clinic did call & said he had some acid in his blood which could be from his injured leg so he had to get some meds for that. We'll see what the specialist says next week.
We have an appointment with the bank tomorrow to see how much we can get approved for. Then we'll try & get some numbers from a couple builders to see what we can afford. I am starting to understand the pain of building already. Right now its just trying to get numbers & information from the builders who are impossible to get a hold of & won't get back to you. Very frustrating already. I really hope a decent house comes on the market before we get to carried away with the building business.....
