June 18th

I don't have any good pics of Rhyse to post this time.  Just thought I would do a little update & stories. 

On Tuesday evening my dad was over & I found a toad in the grass so I brought it over to Rhyse.  He watched it for a little bit then grabbed it & held it in his hand.  He put it down & grabbed it again.  I didn't get pictures of him holding the toad cuz it was so unexpected & I didn't have my camera handy. 

Rhyse has his 9 mo. pictures tomorrow morning.  Hopefully he does good.  After that we are going camping.  We aren't camping with anyone.  Last weekend we camped with a couple guys Lee used to work with.  It was a good time.  The weather wasn't very good on Saturday but not so bad that we couldn't be outside.  We camped at Hazen Bay down by the water.  It was a really nice spot. 

Rhyse is busy crawling around.  He is now crawling on his hands & knees.  He gets around pretty good.  He likes to pull himself up to standing.  He also likes to crawl in, over and under everything.  He likes to go in the kitchen & open the cupboard doors & drawers.  Especially the one with the tupperware lids.  Pulls out the lids then moves on to something else.  He likes all kinds of foods.   He likes to eat what we're eating.  He feeds himself cheerios, animal crackers & other little snack foods.  He can do So Big now.  We don't even have to ask him to do it he will just lift one or two arms in the air until we notice.  He is a very happy little baby.  He takes good naps (1-2 hrs) & sleeps through the night.
