So this weekend it got a little cool in the camper so I decided to turn the furnace on. It didn't kick in, but I went to be anyway. At about 4:30am July 4th the furnace decided to kick in & was making a horrible sound. Lee tried to turn the furnace off but it wouldn't shut off so he disconnected the battery cables. He then realized we were out of propane thinking that was the reason for all the noise. Which I thought was weird, but what do I know?
Well last night after Lee got home from work (11pm) he decided to make sure the furnace worked & there isn't something more wrong with it. When he turned it on it made that same horrible sound (he says like a lawn mower trying to start). He said it really stunk to. So he decided to take the furnace out. Here he found there was a mouse stuck in there!!! Of course it was dead from the weekend & was starting to decay - the reason for the smell.
Lee said he had noticed some mouse droppings in the storage area of the camper but I never seen any inside the camper. So now Lee is going to put traps in & fix the furnace. He has Rhyse this morning so he probably won't be fixing the furnace today. We aren't going camping this weekend so not a big deal.
