End of June to beginning of July

The last weekend in June we attended my brother Aaron's wedding. Stayed in our camper the nights we were there. Blaise & Shanna flew in on Thurs. took him to Jorgy's for a Grinder for lunch. Did some shopping then went to Hooters for supper. Friday went to Beulah. Went to rehearsal & supper then went to the Main Bar for a bit for Aaron's bachelor party. Got back to our parents house & sat by the fire with aunt's & uncle's on our dad's side of the family. Saturday (June 28th)attended the wedding which was delayed due to rain. It was a nice wedding when we finally got to it. Lee & I and Amanda & Ryan were the host couples. Ate supper then danced. Randy sold keg beer for $5 to some guy no one knew. Was pretty funny. Wed., July 2nd we headed back up to Beulah to camp at the lake for the 4th of July weekend. Randy & Scott had to move where they had their 5th wheel parked due to the Corp of Engineers calling & telling them they had to move it, it was to close to the water. When we were unhooking the camper from the pickup the hitch fell off the block to the ground. So Lee had to find a small jack to try to get it back up on the block. Which he succeeded in doing. Then we opened up the camper & something reeked in there. Opened the fridge to find out I had forgotten to take the worms out from 2 weekends ago. They were all dead on the bottom of the fridge. The fridge had a horrible smell so I cleaned it up the best I could & put newpaper in to hopefully absorb the smell. Lee & I stayed out there that night alone.

Thursday we went to Lee's parents to visit, I gave Lee his b-day gift a day early so he could put it on the pickup. It was a tunneau cover. He was very happy with it.
His parents gave him a chair as part of his gift that day also. We went back to the campsite & made supper then went fishing & caught 2 walleye & a couple other crap fish. When we got back to the campsite Scott & Jenny showed up. We made a fire, sat by it for a little bit then went to bed fairly early.

Friday Scott's brother Brad & Tracy came out with Jessica & Chris with their twin girls. It was nice visiting with Jessica I hadn't talked to her since probably college. Her twins are really cute. I unfortunately was to dumb to take a picture of them. We went on the pontoon that afternoon. They guys rode the 2 jet ski's Scott has. When we got back to the campsite Rick & Erin showed up in their semi then Randy & Mandy showed up with Lexi. Lee & I had to head to his parents house for his b-day supper. He got the rest of his gift - Indiana Jones box set & car wash bucket & supplies. Visited for a bit then left so we could get some ice before they closed. Headed back to the campsite & sat by the fire. Brad lit some fireworks they had along. I went to bed earlier than everyone else as usual.

Saturday morning Lee & I went back to his parents house & helped start building a deck. We ate lunch then left & went to find ice once more. Stopped to visit my brother Aaron staying in one of Beulah Bay cabins. Headed back to camp. Everyone was on the boat & Ryan & Jody Martins was sitting there waiting for them to come back. When they got back everyone got off the boat. We sat down by the water & visited. Then headed back up to the campsite, made supper then sat by the fire. Again I went to bed early.

Sunday morning we went on the boat again. The water was really nice so it was nice floating out in the water. We found a tree floating in the water so some of us played on that for a bit. We were out on the water until about 4:30. When we got back to camp we started packing up as we still had to stop at Lee's parents & pick up the 4-wheeler then stop at my parents & get our chairs & some charcoal for the fridge. We didn't get back to Bismarck until 9:30pm. Stopped at Taco John's to grab some food as we really hadn't eaten anything all day except breakfast, some seeds, & watermelon. All in all it was a decent weekend.
