June 13-16

Friday night we went camping. It was a little windy so we setup camp, ate supper & waited for the wind to go down. Finally at around 9pm we fished, didn't get anything. When we got back we started a fire sat by it for a little bit then went to bed at about 11pm. Then some kids showed up and had fire on the other side of the trees. With our radio on in the camper I couldn't hear much of them. Lee wasn't feeling well, he kept coughing so didn't get much sleep.

Saturday morning we got up around 7am to go fishing. We fished for about 2 hours and caught a large carp. We were told there were no carp in there. We were hungry so headed back to camp & the wind was starting to pick up again. We layed down again, we were both really tired. Got up around 11:30am. I tended the fire so we wouldn't have to start from scratch again. While doing that I burned my finger. I made lunch, then I layed down for another nap hoping when I woke my finger would feel better. When I woke my finger did feel much better, still hurt but better. Made supper then went fishing again. This time we caught a small walleye. We let it go so it could get a little bigger. Then headed back to camp. Some kids showed up again. We sat by the fire & the kids decided to leave cuz they couldn't get their fire going. That was perfectly fine with us. Figured we would have a quiet evening. I slept well, Lee said he didn't, said he was coughing again.

Sunday I woke around 7:30am and found it was already windy. So went back to sleep til about 9:00am then got up made some breakfast & packed up to leave. No sense staying if we couldn't fish. So got to Bismarck around noon. I mowed the lawn, showered & went to the grocery store. Lee showed when I got back & we went out to Paradisso for supper. Got home, watched Ice Road Truckers then got ready for bed.

Monday was a beautiful day. No wind!!!! I rode my bike to work & took a walk in the morning with Alyssa & one in the afternoon with DeDe. After work I made supper so it was ready by the time Lee got home then we packed up & went fishing. Sat out there for about 3 hours & only caught one very small walleye. But it was nice to be outside on such a beautiful evening.
